My Dad recently bought a project car, it's a Ford Fairlane (1967?) Emerson wanted to take it for a spin, so naturally.....

........we let him!!! :)

I can see it now (it's a few years away), Emerson and Grandpa having lots of fun transforming this into one sweet ride!

family photo shoot

since my brother and his family are here in town visiting for a few weeks, we decided we needed to update the lake family photo. last time we had a lake family photo it was just the 4 lake's (dad, mom, son and daughter)

i don't have the actual pictures to share yet :( but we've gone from 4 lake's to.......7 lake's and 3 bell's! quite the transformation, don't you think?

this week i'm working on our dining room transformation, on a major budget. hopefully i can share pics by next week.

new fruit!

my little man has discovered a new fruit! ORANGES! he loves them!

it's so cute to watch him suck all the juice out of them :)

Our 4th of July

We spent some time at the beach with our best buds this morning, the little boys had a good time playing in a bucket of water :)
