To infinity and BEYOND!!!!

Emerson and I happened to stumble upon this cute little Buzz Lightyear plate at Target. We carried it around for a little while and then decided to just go for it! He enjoyed using it today and it didn't even end up on the floor like our other plastic plates do ;)

Em's BIG 1!!!

Well my little boy is 1!!! 

Already?.....Where did the time go? 

We had a little golf themed party at the house for friends and family. Overall I think everyone had a great time,  especially Emerson!

He had no reservations about diving right into his cake :)

Everyone else had brownies decorated like golf greens, I think that's the right terminology, obviously I'm not the golfer at our house :)

My Dad recently bought a project car, it's a Ford Fairlane (1967?) Emerson wanted to take it for a spin, so naturally.....

........we let him!!! :)

I can see it now (it's a few years away), Emerson and Grandpa having lots of fun transforming this into one sweet ride!

family photo shoot

since my brother and his family are here in town visiting for a few weeks, we decided we needed to update the lake family photo. last time we had a lake family photo it was just the 4 lake's (dad, mom, son and daughter)

i don't have the actual pictures to share yet :( but we've gone from 4 lake's to.......7 lake's and 3 bell's! quite the transformation, don't you think?
